Deskside Support Technician
We are looking to hire an experienced technician to provide excellent customer service supporting our client’s computers and end users in a Windows 7/10 environment.
Duties: Maintain installation and asset records. Keep computer systems current by planning and implementing computer upgrade projects; installing hardware and software. Resolve problems by conferring with vendors; providing support for desktop environment; consulting with and training new users. Improve system performance by investigating current environment; recommending solutions; integrating standard solutions. Maintains quality service by enforcing organizational standards. PC hardware repair and installation. Windows 10 installation and configuration. Application software installation, such as Microsoft Office. Maintain a spare parts inventory. Tracking computer related issues using a trouble ticket system.
Skills/Qualifications: Problem Solving, Focus on Quality, Networking Knowledge, System Administration, Software Maintenance, Documentation Skills. Candidate must be proficient in Windows 7/10, Windows Server, Outlook, MS Office products. Applicant should have the following certifications or equivalent work experience: A+ Certification or equivalent experience. The candidate will need to pass a criminal background check and drug testing before being placed.
